On this the seventh Sunday of Pascha we celebrate the 318 Holy Fathers at the Council of Nicaea - where the humanity and Divinity of Christ are confirmed in their fullness in the Nicene Creed. The First Ecumenical Council safeguards Pascha and the Ascension as real historical events.
