This miracle - the Raising of Lazarus from the dead after four days in the tomb - catapulted Jesus into the Passion week, arrest, death, and ultimately His own Resurrection. Lazarus' emergence from the tomb thus prefigures Christ's own "resting in the tomb" Resurrection one week later.
