Forty days before the Passion of Christ Jesus ascended Mt. Tabor with his three most trusted disciples, Peter James and John (Matthew 17). He was transfigured before and shone brighter than the sun, thus revealing His eternal Glory and Divinity shared with the Father and the Holy Spirit.
