Holy Tuesday - Third Bridegroom Service (Hymn of Kassiani)

There are services commemorating Christ as the "Bridegroom" of our souls and bodies who is "coming in the middle of the night." Therefore these services and the Gospel readings offered in the Church during the Bridegroom Matins are calls to vigilance, watchfulness and prayer.
