About The Event

On February 14-16, the Metropolis of San Francisco will host FDF – the annual Folk Dance Festival – which is the largest gathering of Orthodox youth and exhibition of authentic Greek folk dance, costume and music in the world.  Over 3,000 participants (and thousands more family, relatives and friends) will come together for the 44th time since 1976 to dance, sing and compete in front of judges on a large stage with other dance groups from the many Greek Orthodox Parishes on the West Coast, Alaska and Hawaii.  Our Parish will be sending over 30 participants, making up two dance groups and their directors.

In light of this, on Sunday, February 9, we will have our Annual Preview Brunch during Fellowship Hour in Panos Hall.  Please plan on staying to support our dancers and witness their FDF suites performed in traditional Greek Costume attire.  Our youth, directors and parents will participate in FDF from February 13 through 17 in Anaheim, CA – your support is greatly appreciated!
