This Divine Liturgy is the oldest form of the Christian Eucharistic Service to come down to us from the Apostolic times. Christians used to gather in homes, or in the catacombs to celebrate this "Agape Meal" instituted at the Mystical Supper of our Lord Jesus Christ.
