Orthros and Divine Liturgy for the Falling Asleep of St. John the Theologian

The Repose, or translation to heaven of the Apostle and Theologian John is held in the early memory of the Orthodox Church as the Lord honored his beloved Disciple with the same honor as His Holy Mother in Her repose and "metastasis" to Heaven.
