Due to such great success, the Folk Dance Groups of St. John the Baptist are so excited to be hosting for a second time
ΧΟΡΕΨΕ ‘08 dance seminar on November 7-9th!!!
This year we are very fortunate and honored to be bringing both of our instructors from Greece! Joining us again from Thessaloniki is Kyriakos Moisidis, and we welcome for the first time to Las Vegas, our second instructor from Athens, Kostas Mitsis. They have prepared exciting material from very distinctive areas exclusively for us. Kyriakos will be presenting dances from Garasari, Pontos and Agistro, Serres while Kostas will be teaching songs and dances from Metsovo, Epirus.
Concluding the weekend will be our annual Glendi with LIVE music so we can sing and dance the night away! And…Monday is a holiday! The Glendi will feature: Pontian lyra and ntaouli as well as the group Ziyia playing music from the regions of Epirus, Thrace and Macedonia. It will be a fun-filled, exciting weekend that you will not want to miss!

Filming
A designated area in the room will be assigned for videotaping. Only in this area will videotaping be allowed to avoid any distractions to the instructors and/or participants.
